13–17 Playfair St & Argyle Terrace Courtyard Upgrade

JCPS managed the heritage restoration of a culturally significant precinct in The Rocks. Works included a new all-weather dining canopy and landscaped courtyard, revitalising the area as a vibrant public domain.

The challenge was balancing strict heritage preservation requirements with the need to create modern, functional spaces for dining and community use. JCPS adopted a collaborative approach, working closely with heritage authorities, stakeholders, and local businesses to resolve approvals, logistics, and programme constraints. The outcome is a revitalised precinct that enhances amenity and community engagement, while preserving the heritage fabric for future generations.
